The 20th Annual McPherson College C.A.R.S. Show in Pictures Part 4: The Famous After-Show BBQ
After the C.A.R.S Club show each year, McPherson College Auto Restoration Program Associate Professor Luke Chennell puts on a glorious barbeque, complete with numerous show cars parked on the lawn of his stately 1920s-era home. Pre-war cars are on the west side of the sidewalk, post-war on the east. The turnout this year included one of the show's feature cars, a 1914 Peugeot L45 Grand Prix Two Seater, chassis number 1, engine number 1, considered by many to be the most significant race car in history.
